Edmund Fladung is a creative director and fashion designer based between Mexico and New York. His career began in entertainment and has since moved through building brands to making the clothes themselves. He started out designing for studios including MGM and leading creative on the James Bond franchise across three films. He went on to co-found two lifestyle labels, Quality Peoples and Manyana, building each from the ground up, from identity and campaigns through to the garments and the workshop floor. Both earned coverage in The New York Times and Vogue. He trained at CalArts, but his real education came from building the brands rather than working within them. What connects the work across disciplines is a single instinct: quiet, considered, made to last. He is most curious about how things are designed, in the brand and in the garment alike.
